Went in on a Friday evening- full house and they still greeted and very attentive. Food was so fresh and delicious! Ordered sushi and the eel sauce was on point. Volcano roll is my new favorite! Definitely recommend this place I normally go to noa noa and think this is comparable but half the price and closer to me. Great friendly service and lively.
We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon, sometime around 1:00. We were told we could sit where we wanted and then a little boy brought us our menus. Then another woman(older who didn't speak English came to the table I think to get drunk orders but I asked her a question about the menu and she ran off to the back), then another woman (younger who speaks English) came and took our drink order (I think it's her and her husband that own this place). She answered any questions I had then took out order. One other family was there (also from Warsaw) and I think they were the reason it took us about 20 minutes or more to get our food (they ordered a huge "sushi boat that contains 5 or 6 different types of rolls-of your choosing, and the man in the back was the only one doing the sushi and cooking.) I ordered the Crab Rangoon and it came with 6 of them. Very good, little on the sweet side. I also ordered the bento box with teriaki beef and shrimp and veg tempura(the veggies were mushroom, sweet potatoe slice, broccoli and zucchini I think) and was pleasantly surprised at how tender the beef was- it was a good cut of meat, no fat or grizzle, and came on a bed of steamed vegetables. Their teriyaki sauce is homemade, not the real bold flavor you get from a bottle so it didn't overpower your taste buds. My meal also came with a salad with a delicious creamy ginger dressing and is probably also homemade. It also came with a lovely sweet orange segment. Husband got the Chicken Fried Rice and he said it was definitely better than the rice you get at the Japanese place here in Warsaw. I had leftovers that gave me two more meals even! This is definitely family owned and worth the trip to Syracuse to support. (Wish they would move it here to Warsaw!)
This is a small establishment with a big heart! What a wonderful addition to Syracuse. Walking in the door I was warmly greeted by several of the staff. I chose a bento box this time for my meal. So many combinations from which to choose. The food is freshly prepared, with quality ingredients. The serving was enough for two people. It was flavorful AND healthful! It was reasonably priced, too. Carry out or eat-in, you will enjoy your meal.
